Gracie Gives in 2010

Gracie’s Gives to Trey this year in support of children fighting cancer and their dreams that live on

Trey Brown’s Story
Trey was a boy who made an impression on so many in the short time he lived on this earth.  He loved his family, friends, sports, and above all God.  He was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2004 and went on to be with Jesus at the age of 12.  In 2006, a 5k was formed in honor of Trey.  This event allowed his dream to become possible by spreading God’s word through missions.  All proceeds from this event are donated to local churches.  Since 2006, money raised has been used in China, Australia, and an orphanage in Mexico.

Trey’s mother, Dayla Brown, is one of Gracie’s running clients.  Dayla is training to qualify for the Boston marathon.  Dayla picked up running after Trey’s fight as a way to cope with the loss of her son.  Gracie learned of her story and through her love of children and passion for helping others Gracie and Gracie’s Gear has dedicated Gracie Gives to Trey and his family.  Online sales will be dedicated to Trey’s mission and 50% of all online sales from Nov 1st to Nov 13th will be donated to Trey’s family to give to a church mission this year.
